Because we have two choices.
Speaker A:We can stay where we are or we can choose to move forward.
Speaker A:And I chose to move forward.
Speaker A:I didn't like the results.
Speaker A:I didn't like feeling this way.
Speaker A:You've been asking God to show you your purpose, but you're not hearing anything clear.
Speaker A:You're tired, you're confused and you feel.
Speaker B:Like this is for another woman, not you.
Speaker A:Or maybe you've said I want to know my purpose, but the more I try, the more confused I feel.
Speaker A:What if I never figured out?
Speaker A:I've been there and wondering if this is ever going to happen to me.

Speaker A:So today I'm sharing the turning point where finding my purpose started feeling impossible.

Speaker A:I remember when I was in the same place wanting it so badly to uncover my purpose but feeling like it was impossible.
Speaker A:When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had morning sickness around the clock.
Speaker A:I Was tired and had no energy.
Speaker A:And I felt frustrated trying to figure it out.
Speaker A:And because of that, I stayed stuck and lost and doing nothing to uncover it for months.
Speaker A:I understand your frustration and how impossible it can feel.
Speaker A:I've been there.
Speaker A:But then there was a turning point that changed everything.
Speaker A:I shifted my thoughts from impossible to this is possible.
Speaker A:So as a new mom, I was limited with time.
Speaker A:I was balancing family, household chores, and time with God felt very little for me.
Speaker A:So I had to decide how important it was to me.
Speaker A:Did I want to keep feeling the same way day in, day out and getting the same results or did I want to change it?
Speaker A:I was not happy feeling without a purpose.
Speaker A:I didn't want to stay feeling this way and not feeling like I was doing something impactful.
Speaker A:Yes, taking care of my new baby, yes, that was impactful.
Speaker A:I am responsible for her entire life.
Speaker A:But there still was just that something missing that kept nudging at me.
Speaker A:And it was the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:So during this turning point, when I made the decision that I wanted to change it, I was not happy with the results.
Speaker A:I was not happy with my outcome of what was going on.
Speaker A:It was when I was actually doing my mindset work.
Speaker A:And I learned that decision as part of uncovering your purpose.
Speaker A:Because we have two choices.
Speaker A:We can stay where we are or we can choose to move forward.
Speaker A:And I chose to move forward.
Speaker A:I didn't like the results.
Speaker A:I didn't like feeling this way.
Speaker A:So I dedicated time specifically to uncovering my purpose.
Speaker A:I had to be intentional and protect my time so I wouldn't be disturbed.
Speaker A:I chose intentional pockets of time.
Speaker A:And that was either before my daughter was awake or after she was asleep at night because I knew she didn't need my attention then and my husband was asleep by that time.
Speaker A:And before you think, okay, well, sounds like I have to do this in the middle of the night.
Speaker A:No, you don't have to.
Speaker A:It wasn't in the middle of the night.
Speaker A:It was from 8:30 to 9:00 o'.
Speaker A:Clock.
Speaker A:That was my time.
Speaker A:Or maybe it shifted, you know, from 9 to 9:30.
Speaker A:And during this time I worked in like 15 to 20 minute sessions, depending on what phase I was in during this whole process.
Speaker A:But I never spent more than 30 minutes at a time working on uncovering my purpose.
Speaker A:So this is very doable in 15, 20, 30 minutes of time.
Speaker A:And I didn't work on it during the weekends when my husband was home because I kept the weekends for family.
Speaker A:I highly value family.
Speaker A:It's very important to me.
Speaker A:So I wanted to spend that time with my family.
Speaker A:And that's great.
Speaker A:You've made the decision that you're going to dedicate some time and you're going to pick a time that you can sit and you can work on this time.
Speaker A:Here's the truth.
Speaker A:Desire fuels our actions.
Speaker A:So without a deep emotional connection, it's easy to quit.
Speaker A:You won't pursue it long term without that desire.
Speaker A:What happens is you turn that desire into a commitment, into those intentional steps forward with God.
Speaker A:And this is the moment where you'll say, I want this deeply and now.
Speaker A:And I'm choosing to live it out.
Speaker A:And that's exactly what was within me.
Speaker A:I had that desire and the fire within me, saying, I want this so bad.
Speaker A:It's so important to me that I may make a decision to set time aside for me to work on this.
Speaker A:Because this was so important.
Speaker A:Because I want to wake up knowing that I know what my talents, my gifts are God graciously blessed me with.
Speaker A:And I'm choosing to live it out.
Speaker A:So that fire in my heart, it kept me excited to wake up and work on uncovering my purpose.
Speaker A:I relentlessly pursued it because I was emotionally invested in the goal.
Speaker A:I kept my goal front of mind with a daily mindset routine.
Speaker A:When the thought came, my dream feels impossible.
Speaker A:I anchored myself in God's word.
Speaker A:I spent time with him and I sat in his word.
Speaker A:And we are reminded.
Speaker A: In Mark: Speaker A:For all things are possible with God.
Speaker A:The Holy Spirit reminded me, with God, anything is possible.
Speaker A:This is why spending time in scripture is very helpful.
Speaker A:Because the Holy Spirit can remind you of God's truth.
Speaker A:You learn to know his character.
Speaker A:And I remembered his character.
Speaker A:He's helped me before when I thought it was impossible.
Speaker A:He truly wants good for me.
Speaker A:He does not want anything bad to happen.
Speaker A:And the truth is, God is truth.
Speaker A:Satan is not the enemy.
Speaker A:Wants you to keep believing that it's impossible and that God won't help you.
Speaker A:And he may feed you a lie of this will never happen.
Speaker A:You don't know how.
Speaker A:So you're going to stay stuck feeling this way and live in this way.
Speaker A:But when God tells us that anything is possible for God, we must anchor in God's truth.
Speaker A:This is exactly why it's important to anchor yourself and spend time in the Bible reading his words.
Speaker A:Because you learn to know his character.
Speaker A:And as one of the characters is, you know that God is truth and you know his truths and that's why it's very important to spend time with Him.
Speaker A:So to recap, you don't need hours a day.
Speaker A:You need intentional decision, a burning desire, and consistent small steps.
Speaker A:You want to protect your time and you want to commit to it.
Speaker A:You're working with God towards uncovering your purpose.
Speaker A:So keep your goal friend of mine and anchor yourself in his truth when the lies show up.
Speaker A:Let us pray in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, our Heavenly Father.
Speaker A:Please help the mom listening now.
Speaker A:She's tired, she's exhausted and she's confused.
Speaker A:She feels like uncovering her unique purpose that you created her for is impossible.
Speaker A:Help her to feel this is possible and that she will uncover her purpose that you created her for.
Speaker A:Holy Spirit, please kindle the fire within her and fill her heart with a strong desire.
Speaker A:Anchor her in truth Jesus to help her on this path.
Speaker A:Help her when she feels discouraged to see the light, to see the truth.
Speaker A:For when you say with men it is impossible, but with God, for all things are possible with God.
Speaker A:Father, we make this pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Knowledge is power, but true change happens when we pair it with consistent daily action.
Speaker A:We cannot gain clarity if we're not taking daily action to help us move forward.
Speaker A:Ask yourself, are you committed to uncovering your purpose?
